This Month’s Most Needed Items – November 2024
Each month we release a list of our most urgently needed items. Urgent needs items are not typically part of our routine requirements and are necessary in response to unexpected emergencies or shortages.
We provide basic essential items to the individuals and families that we serve.
Those experiencing violence often flee quickly and do not have time to prepare and pack.
The Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society is grateful for the support of our community. Should you wish to donate something from our wish list please call us to make arrangements to drop off your gently used or new item(s). If you have an item to donate that is not included on this list, but still believe one of our programs may have a use for it, please contact us via email at info@mhwss.ca or call (403) 527-8223, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Ongoing Needs
Ongoing needs items are those that the Women’s Shelter requires on a consistent basis to maintain its operations and provide essential services to its beneficiaries.
These items typically include everyday essentials and staples that are constantly used by residents. The demand for ongoing needs items remains relatively stable and we are continuously taking donations for these items.
